Every letter here is typed, and most of them should stay that way. But after a year of writing to someone, one of them deserves an envelope. We are building the part where you can post it.

A letter arrives when
you aren’t looking.
That is the point of the thing, and it is the one problem a browser tab cannot solve: a letter crossing the world lands more than a day after it was sent, usually while you are somewhere else entirely. The Android app tells you. Same account, same correspondences — whatever is in the air stays in the air.
